Yes and thats is why we are proud to help each and every one of you eat the best pizza.... screen or battery not genuine warning from apple..Starting with iOS 13.1 and iPhone 11 models (the 11, Pro, and Pro Max), your phone will report if it has a third-party screen: “Unable to verify this iPhone has a genuine Apple display.” It starts as a persistent message on your lock screen, lasting for four days. After that, the warning lodges itself in the Settings for 15 days, and then in Settings > General > About after that. It’s also added to your “device information,” so that Apple staff can see it.
This warning, similar to the recent addition of battery warnings, happens even if you swap a genuine Apple screen from one phone to another. To avoid the warning, you have to have a genuine Apple display installed by a certified Apple technician, independent or otherwise. The warning doesn’t seem to affect operation—other than the loss of True Tone, which occurs with any display swap not performed by Apple or using specialty chip programming tools. We’ve tested this with genuine parts on iPhone 11 models. The warnings were not present in iOS 13.0 or the beta for iOS 13.1, but they show up when you change out screens with the final version of 13.1 installed. We used screens from the same models of iPhone 11, just days old, but without the software verification tools available to Apple-certified technicians, our units had warnings about a “genuine Apple display.” We even swapped the Face ID hardware from an iPhone’s original display to the replacement, hoping that would convince the phone that it still had its original screen, but the screen warning remained. It seems that Apple cryptographically pairs each screen to the iPhone it ships on. where to get a iphone 8 or 8 plus + screen display repaired nearby fix a cracked glassiphone 8 plus + is quite an old iPhone model now. When we break our phones, the most common reaction is to ask, “How
much will it cost to fix?” The biggest factors in the cost of a repair fall on two things, which model you have, and whether it is the glass, or the LCD underneath. We’ll dive in to why this is, and how you can tell which one is broken. There are essentially three layers that exist on your phone: 1. The Glass – This is the top layer of the phone. It can take quite a bit of beating before breaking, and it contains and protects the other layers underneath while still allowing for a good picture. This is fairly easy to tell if you’ve cracked or not, just look for any small cracks, “spiderwebbed” cracks, or if the glass is lifting, it may need to be replaced. 2. The Digitizer – This is layer 2 out of 3. It is the part of the phone that makes the screen respond to touch. The biggest symptom of this part not working is when certain buttons or areas of your phone don’t respond to your finger. It’s a good sign you might need a replacement. 3. The LCD – When you take a look at the iPhone XR for example, they boast a 1792×828 resolution with 326 Pixels per square inch. The LCD is responsible for the image on your screen. When this breaks, you may find that your device is still powered, however you won’t be able to see any picture at all. This is a pretty clear indication that it is no longer working due to damage. Sometimes the LCD doesn’t completely break, you will be able to see black dots, green lines, or a portion of the screen just won’t show. One thing to mention is that Samsung phones on most carriers have a secret code that shows you how to test your LCD. It is found here: Samsung galaxy has a hidden menu My surefire process is to first check the model of my phone. If you don’t know how to do that, we have a guide here: HOW TO FIND A MODEL NUMBER After that, you want to verify if the LCD is broken or not. If you aren’t familiar with the process in step #3 you can always bring it to a technician who will verify which parts are broken. Then all I do is call for a quote with this information, and you will receive the most accurate quote for your phone repair. As well, Quick Mobile Repair techs are always on staff if you want a second opinion. Call or stop in and we can diagnose your device for free! My Phone Won't Connect To Wi-Fi
Can’t connect to your email, internet, or anything else on your phone? Follow these general steps and you’ll be connected once again. This will help you determine whether or not it is a software, configuration, or hardware problem. Wi-Fi button First The very first thing you want to check is if your Wi-Fi is actually enabled. Sometimes we may forget to turn it back on or it was not on in the first place. Regardless, what you want to do is open up your phone and go to the main home menu. Whether you are on iPhone or Android, swiping down from the top of the screen should bring up a menu of icons that turn certain functions like Bluetooth on or off. Simply look for the Wi-Fi icon then continue. If this is the issue, you will see it light up and prompt you to join a Wi-Fi network (unless it automatically connects to a previous network). Voila! If it connects, great. If it does not, here’s some more symptoms. Accidental airplane Mode Whether or not you took a flight recently, I would check this option just to be sure. Sometimes it accidentally gets activated and blocks your phone from connecting to Wi-Fi. It is in the same place as the Wi-Fi button, and is always a picture of an airplane. Make sure to turn this option OFF and check again to see if you can connect. Your phone might need an update If your phone isn’t set to automatically update, it would be good to make sure your phone’s software is up to date. Manufacturers will release updates that change how your phone interacts with networks. If you have mobile data, go to settings and see if you need a quick software upgrade. Before we mess with settings... Before we completely reset the network settings, I would recommend resetting your phone. Simply power your device down and power it back up. In simple terms, it will “refresh” the setup on the phone, and it will possibly fix your issue. Reset your network settings The last step I would try if nothing else works is to reset all network settings. This is usually found under Settings->General->Network settings There will be an option to either forget your current network (Don’t worry, it can still find it again, it will just forget your current settings), or you can reset all network settings if that does not fix the issue. Hopefully after these steps, you will be connected to Wi-Fi once again. If you are not able to connect after all, it may turn out to be a hardware problem. If you’re charging port has become damaged or has failed, it may cause Wi-Fi connectivity issues. In the worst case scenario, if you have not had luck with any of these steps, iFixmarbella Repair offers free diagnosis on any device, so stop in to one of our locations and a technician can let you know exactly what is happening. So, the iPhone 12 is out — all 4 of them, in fact. This year, we have an iPhone 12 mini iPhone 12, iPhone 12 pro, and iPhone 12 Pro max. A wide range of models covering every niche and need, yet most of them incapable of striking that “Wow!” note, I feel.
Here’s the thing. When you go into the iPhone tab on Apple.com, you are met with a bold statement — “It’s a leap year!”. And while it’s a very catchy and upbeat marketing phrase, it feels like anything but. In other words, I feel like - After the fact that apple put a message saying your display is not a original display even when you have a original screen this was a bug in previous ios update now its fxed or so they say the iphone x series has better price and good quality compared to the newer iphone 12 and 13 range we say stick with what you got a little longer My iPhone/Android Won’t Charge
When you get home from a long day of work or a busy day, settling in and charging your phone back up is sort of a daily ritual. If you’ve ever arrived home, plopped down in your seat and realized that your phone wasn’t charging, this is your guide. Let’s look at some signs and reasons the charging port is dying. The wiggle of death I think at some point we’ve all experienced this. You plug your cord into your phone and… Nada. So you move it back and forth, and you see it charges for a second and then goes away again. We try to wiggle frantically until we find the perfect angle for it to finally charge, but it doesn’t. Here are some causes. Is it your cord or wall adapter? It is a good idea to look at these two before looking at anything with the phone. First, try plugging only the USB cord into a computer, laptop, or any USB port. If your phone charges, then it is most likely the adapter that plugs into the wall. They are at most cell phone stores or gas stations if you need one. If it is does not charge, then try another USB cord and see if that works. Lastly, try another outlet to see if there are issues with it. If after these steps your phone does not want to charge, it may be time to look at the device itself. Could it be your charging port? Should I fix it myself? If your phone has wireless charging and you have a pad for it, I would suggest trying it first. If it works, you at least know that it is just the charging port and not a deeper issue. Once we have tried all these steps, it may be time to call it and repair your charging port after all. On most models, the charging port comes into contact with different network cables, headphone jack, and even the vibration motor for your phone. Unless you have experience, it is largely unadvised to switch these out without guidance due to the possibility of damaging internal parts. To check out charging repairs that start at 15 minutes and 29 euro, check out our prices for your specific model at ifixmarbella.es My Samsung Back Glass Is Broken!
Long gone are the days of having a phone with a removable back. Unless you have an older Samsung or a Motorola, you may be questioning how to remove the rear of the phone to replace the battery, or just to replace the back of it with new glass! Let’s walk through exactly what is going on underneath the glass. 1.) How is at attached? The back glass is a flat piece of glass that fits in the frame of the phone. There is usually a ring of adhesive that goes around the device that keeps it on the back of the phone. If it is cracked, It will need to be removed carefully with heat and the proper tools, otherwise it may crack more and create a dust cloud of tiny glass (not fun) It is important to note that underneath the back glass is where your fingerprint sensor may be on newer models, it is important to make sure you don’t go too far past the edge, otherwise you may damage the cable there. 2.) How do I remove it? What tools do I need? The thing that is most important is to have heat. Without heat it will shatter very easily. If you have a heat gun, try heating around the edges a bit at a time to loosen the adhesive. Now that it is heated up, we can start with the tedious part. You want to either use a suction cup to create a small opening or use a thin plastic card to create the opening in between the back of the phone and the glass. Once you have the opening, you can keep it open by inserting a thin plastic card or a guitar pick sized object. After you have your opening, keep heating and working along the edge with your pry tool or plastic card. It helps to drop a little alcohol on your tool to cut through the adhesive. Once you work all the way around, it should come off fairly easily. 3.) How do I put it back on? This part is fairly simple, the replacement back glass that you order may have adhesive already applied. If it doesn’t there is different types of adhesive and pre-made strips that can be used around the edge of the glass. Once you have this applied, you want to first connect any cables underneath, then lay the back glass back on to the frame. Be careful that it does not get caught on the camera or it may crack the glass again. Don't want to risk it? If all of this sounds like a huge headache and something that might go wrong, Quick Mobile Repair offers this service at all of our locations. We have the back glass for the majority of Samsung models and it only takes us 20 minutes or less to repair. On top of a 1-year warranty and low costs, it may be worth it to have us take care of it! Let’s say you’re due for an upgrade, or you have an old iphone that you’re looking to sell. There are a few steps that you need to take before hand to make sure that it is usable to the person you are selling or gifting the phone to. Let’s go through them so we know for the future. 1. Remove your iCloud! This is the most important step, so we’ll cover it first. The iCloud is the individual account that is tied to your email. You set this up when you started using the phone to download apps and to make any transaction. From your home screen, navigate to settings. Right at the top of the screen will be your iCloud account. Click on this and it will bring you to a page that has information about your backups and other settings. At the bottom should be a button that reads “Sign out of iCloud”. Enter your password and it will remove it from the device. 2. Remove passcode or reset to factory settings It will be far easier for you to remove the passcode rather than the person who receives it from you. To perform this, you’ll want to navigate to settings again. Once there, click the “Touch ID & Passcode” option. Then tap “turn passcode off” It will ask you to enter your passcode, and then it will remove it from the device. 3. Factory reset your device to protect your personal data The last step is to remove any personal data from the device. In settings, tap on the reset option. Go to reset all content and settings. This will bring up a menu asking you to confirm. Once you click erase all of your files and settings will be set to default. You’re done! You’ll know the phone is completely reset once you are back on the white welcome screen. It is now completely reset and ready to sell/gift/recycle. We have a lot of phones that come in “iCloud locked” from people not removing their iCloud, so we hope that this guide can help a few of you out! Certain iPad models, including the iPad Pro, the newer iPad Air 2 and the others listed above, contain something that is referred to as a laminated display. A laminated display simply means that the LCD display and the touch screen glass is fused together in a single layer instead of being two separate layers like you would see with non-laminated iPad models like the iPad 1st generation through to the iPad 7th generation, iPad mini 2 and iPad mini 3. When the screen on a laminated iPad model becomes damaged, it requires a full LCD display and touch screen glass replacement which makes the repair process more advanced. This is why a repair on a newer iPad model is more expensive. It’s not a rip off, we promise! iPad repairs range from 80-250 euro depending on model, type of repair and severity of damage. How long does it take to repair an iPad? At ifixmarbella Repair, we follow a thorough multi-step repair process that starts by verifying the battery and charging port on the iPad are working properly, along with inspecting for further damages and issues that may not have initially been noticed by the owner. If any further issues are seen, for example, the iPad needs a battery replacement, the customer is notified before proceeding to ensure all problems with their device are resolved. If there are any issues with the charging port, it may require specialty soldering services by one of our Tech Gurus. The high quality replacement laminated screens we use come from the manufacturer preassembled with the LCD display and touch screen glass fused together creating the entire front panel that will be replaced during the iPad repair process. We use two layers of top quality adhesive to adhere the glass to the frame, ensuring that everything remains attached and in the right place, and in working condition for years to come. Following the replacement of the iPad’s broken screen, all of the device’s functions are tested numerous times to ensure that all internal connections with the device are properly made. The secondary features to be tested include but are not limited to the camera, speakers, fingerprint sensor or face identification (if applicable), charging port and wireless charging connector (if applicable). At iFixmarbella Repair, we go even further than other repair companies to check such things as the Bluetooth connectivity and other customer accessories are in proper working order as part of our complete iPad post-repair diagnostic. It is important to keep in mind that if your facial recognition or fingerprint identification was not functioning before the repair, it may have been a result of the damage to the laminated touch screen glass and LCD display. We take all necessary steps to ensure all aspects of your iPad are repaired during the process and will work with you if further services are needed such as a battery replacement. Although a majority or charging and battery issues may require soldering, sometimes it may be your charging cord. It is always important to make sure that you are utilizing quality chargers and accessories that are supported and rated for your specific iPad. For example, we carry MFI certified iPad chargers. Regardless of any iPad repair needs you may have, we offer a free diagnostic to pinpoint all possible issues to ensure that your repair gets done with the utmost quality and fastest turnaround time possible for your complete satisfaction. iPad repair generally takes 30 mins – 2 hours depending on model and repair. But no worries, we’ll give you a loaner phone and call you when it’s done. It is also important to note that any iPad frame damage will require your device to be reshaped in order for the new display to lay flush and avoid re-damaging the screen. Any frame damage will be assessed during the initial diagnostic and will be explained by your Tech Guru. Repairs on non-laminated iPad models will also go through a similar repair process as the laminated models. The main difference between laminated and non-laminated devices is that the touch screen glass and LCD display are separated and not part of one combined front panel. During the diagnostic of a non-laminated iPad, the technician will be able to see if only the touch screen glass is damaged, which can lead to a more straightforward repair, or if the LCD display is also damaged, requiring both to be replaced. Although both of these iPad repair processes are intricate, if your device has damage to the LCD screen or requires it to be replaced, it can be a much higher cost as this is the portion of your device that provides you with the actual picture display. All of our repairs come with a one-year warranty covering all part defects and with our wide range of accessories and tempered glass screen protectors, you can insure the longevity of your device. We are known around town as the “fastest iPhone repair in Malaga” because all of our front glass replacements take only 15-20 minutes. The phone screen is one of the most fragile parts of an iPhone, leading to it being repaired more often than anything else. In order to keep up with the high demand for iPhone screen replacements, we keep a large stock of the highest grade LCDs for a wide range of models, from the iPhone 6 all the way up to the most current iPhone 11 Pro Max. Although broken and cracked glass screens are the most common problem for iPhones, there are things you can do to prevent this from happening. A high quality tempered glass screen protector has the ability to protect your phone from damage if you accidentally drop or scratch it. In addition to a tempered glass screen protector, a quality phone case can also increase your device’s protection from accidental damage and a cracked screen. We carry both tempered glass screen protectors as well as a large range of quality phone cases for all iPhone models at every one of our locations. To find out more, call a store near you. Battery Issues Although all iPhones have the potential to succumb to battery problems, it is uncommon to see these problems in iPhones that are less than two years old. A majority of our battery replacements are done to increase the total usage time of a device from a full charge, as well as to stop the phone from shutting down prematurely when the battery level has not yet reached 1%. These two issues typically arise after two to three years of regular usage, depending on how well the iPhones battery is maintained. Leaving an iPhone plugged in for extended periods of time after it is fully charged and subjecting it to extreme temperatures are some of the ways a device less than two years of age can start having battery issues. Once an iPhone reaches three years of age, it is very common for it to need a battery replacement, a majority of the devices that come to one of our locations with battery issues are around this age. Currently, the most common iPhone models we see with battery issues are iPhone 6’s and iPhone 7’s, however in recent months we have started to see more iPhone 8’s and iPhone X’s have these problems. Charging Ports If a person is having an issue with the charging port on their iPhone it can be the result of many different things, however, the most common issues we see related to iPhone charging ports is that they are clogged with dirt or debris, or a metallic object has gotten stuck in them causing a short circuit which renders the charging port useless. In either of these scenarios, replacing the charging port is the best way to bring your iPhone back to life and restore that factory fresh click you hear when you plug in the charger which tends to fade over time from plugging and unplugging the cord over and over again. Currently, we see iPhone 8’s, iPhone 7’s and iPhone 6’s needing charging port repairs more than any other models as it can take a couple years for the build-up of dirt and debris to become noticeable, however it can largely depend on the level of care you take with your device. As with most iPhone issues, proper care and prevention can delay these issues from happening for a much longer period of time. It is recommended that you take your iPhone into any of our locations for a low-cost internal cleaning to prevent your device from having any problems with the charging port. Back Glass Damage Starting with the iPhone 8 series going forward, these devices utilize a back glass panel instead of an aluminum back like some of the earlier iPhone models, which allow the device to use the wireless charging feature. Wireless charging requires the back of the phone to be made of this glass so the magnetic field from the wireless charger properly transfers power to the coils in the back of the device. Just like the front glass screen on these iPhone models, the rear glass is very delicate and can become broken or cracked very easily if proper care is not taken. Due to the nature of these glass backs being similar to a screen in terms of strength, structure, and potential exposure to physical damage, we see almost as many broken back glass iPhones as we see front glass screens. We utilize an intricate machine that uses a special laser to remove this glass without damaging the wireless charging coils inside the device, as well as the other more delicate aspects of the iPhone such as the camera. Because of the nature of the back glass, it is no surprise that we see many iPhone 8’s, iPhone X’s and iPhone 11’s needing both a front glass and rear glass repair. In fact, since the launch of the iPhone 11, we’ve seen almost the same volume of damages to this back glass as we have the front glass on the earlier models like the iPhone 6 and iPhone 7. Just like the delicate front glass screen, proper preventative measures such as a quality phone case can increase the longevity of your back glass and keep it from becoming cracked or scratched.
